What To Bring

Collar and Lead
Dogs should be wearing a correctly fitting collar and leash of approximately 1-1.5m.
Flat collars, martingale collars, haltis and head collars are all permitted.
Chain leads, choke chains, prong collars and shock collars are strictly not permitted.

Treats
Chicken, diced meat, sausage or polony (NOT hard kibble/biscuits type).
Dicing up left over meats etc. and freezing in bagged lots ready for training nights is a great and convenient idea. Remember, this is your dog's "pay", so make it worth working for!

Treat Pouch
To enable ready access to treats for your dog, we recommend the use of a treat pouch,
'bum' bag, or wearing pants with large pockets.

Toys
Playing is a great way to reward your dog, and give them a break from learning.
Bring a couple of your dog's favourite toys - tug toys are a great way to motivate and reward your dog at the same time.
Please do not bring squeaky toys as they distract other dogs.

Bowl and water
Learning is hard work! Please make sure you have a drink available for your dog during training, regardless of the weather.

Dog Crate
Dogs are not to be tethered, nor left unsupervised. When not working, please leave your dog in your car, or in a crate.

Handler Attire
Handlers must wear suitable closed footwear (no thongs or scuffs) and appropriate clothing.
